what time is it now?

... 2PM baby!!!

7 adorkable boys who sucked me into the world of fangirling. I've never been a fangirl of a particular boyband before 2PM came. I'd listen to some kpop songs here and there but never really followed a particular group.

I'm kinda late to the whole 2PM scene. I only started fangirling this past April, eventhough they debuted last year (09/04/08 to be exact). I was first exposed to the awesomeness that is 2PM when I saw them on youtube practicing with the WG. At first, I thought there was only 5 of them, then I saw the actual performance and realized there was 7 of these amazing boys. I then clicked on a related video, their 10 out of 10 mv and after that Idol Army episode 17 (feat. After School)... and the rest was history. I became officially addicted to 2PM ^.^

I showed the Idol Army video to my sister (who was a DBSK fan back then) and she was like, "they're not cute at all"... gah! the blasphemy! But, more than their looks I was attracted to their natural and enjoyable-to-watch camaraderie. Unlike other idol groups, that'll charm you with their pretty appearance and make you wish that you were their gf... 2PM made me wish that I was a guy and I was their friend ^.^ They just look like they're having so much fun hanging out with each other. As for my sister, she eventually saw the light and is now a Hottest like myself, lol.

Together, these guys are unbeatable! Whether they're onstage or off, it doesn't matter I just love watching them. They're HOT and Dorky at the same time, which makes them oh so irresistible.

And here are the seven guys that make my world a whole lot brighter ^.^

Kim Junsu (1.15.88)
my sister's fave, so i won't spazz too much about him, lol.
he's the main vocalist of the group, but i like it more when he raps than when he sings.

Lee Junho (1.25.90)
my sister's other fave (yup, she's a two-timer).
known for his charming eye-smile and well-defined gluteus maximus,
JH comes across as the serious one in the group. He'd be the first to remind everybody that they have a busy schedule when everyone starts goofing off.

Nichkhun Buck Horvejkul (6.24.88)
2PM's resident eye-candy and wink-vending machine, lol.
Half-Thai/Half-Chinese, NK can speak/understand English, Thai, and Korean, which to me is more amazing than his looks ;)

Jang Wooyoung (4.30.89)
My little evil boy, LOL!
He's mischievous and noisy, but I love him that way ^.^

Hwang Chansung (2.11.90)
2PM's maknae.
CS is too hot for his own good! Long hair or short hair, either way he's smokin' h-o-t!

Ok Taecyeon (12.27.88)
Self-proclaimed the beast of the group.
TY is my second fave. He's the biggest dork of the group. I love how he's always cheerful even when he's clearly exhausted. And his love for aegyo is just too adorable.
And I appreciate how he takes care of Jay ^.~

....saving the best for last, lol.

Park Jaebeom (4.25.87)
2PM's leadja & the guy who owns my <3
Jay is Mr. AWESOME!!! He's witty, funny, cute, and hot. He can sing, dance, rap, & bboy.
Seeing him in person was more than a dream come true ^__^

*sad note*
although 2PM is going through their toughest obstacle, as a loyal fan, i'm doing whatever i can, in my own little way, to show them that i'll always have their back. 9.8.09, the day that i want to erase from my memory forever... yet i'm always hopeful. i pray everyday for this nightmare to end and for everything to go back to how it was. i pray to God to comfort the boys and give them strength and to bring us closer to that light at the end of the tunnel.

2PM is not 7 but 1
2PM fighting!

the happiest place on earth...

Disney World of course!

30,500 acres of fun, Walt Disney World resort is about the same size as San Francisco. Even during its "off-peak" season throngs of people still flock to this magical place.

I went with my sister and my cousin last summer (08/08). I had so much fun by the time we got back home I missed the place so much I ended up booking another visit. So for our holiday trip, the whole family went back to Disney World.

No matter what age you are, you'll be sure to find something you'll enjoy. My dad loved the place as much as my baby nephew ^.^ Disney World offer tons of rides & attractions. If you're not into that, you could always check out the numerous musical shows. Before I start sounding more and more like an infomercial I'll share some pics and tips of our recent Disney trips.

If you're like me, you'll enjoy planning your trip. I enjoyed planning our vacations just as much as the vacations themselves. I'm a consummate planner. I plan everything from what I will order off the menu to what I would wear, I even planned the order in which we would hit the rides. I may sound like a drag, but my sister admitted that thanks to my methodical planning we were able to go on every ride we wanted (without wasting time standing in long lines) plus more, since we had so much time left.

tip #1 Plan ahead of time.
I booked our trips directly from Disney World's website. The site also has a section where Disney Moms (and a Dad) will answer all your questions regarding your upcoming trip. For reviews and menus try allears.net.

tip #2 Transportation: If there's only a few of you going (3 or less), using Disney's complementary public transportation is the way to go. It's free & pretty reliable. However, if there's a bunch of you it would be best to rent a van or SUV. Like what we did the second time we went. Especially since we brought my baby nephew, having your own transportation just makes more sense if you have all those extra stuff to carry (baby stroller, diaper bags, etc.)

tip #3 Disney Dining Plan
If you're staying in a Disney resort, make sure you get the Disney Dining Plan. Even the basic plan is well worth the money. You won't have to think about the price while ordering, as long as you order the allotted number of items, it doesn't matter what you order.

tip #4 Off-Peak Season
Both times we went were supposedly "off-peak" seasons but we still had to weave through a bunch of people. I would hate to imagine what it's like when it's peak season. Actually I saw a youtube video and it was almost scary, lol. You could hardly see anything with all those people blocking your way. Don't even think about stopping to have your picture taken, you might just get run over by the mob.

tip #5 Fast Pass
Make sure you get a Fast Pass to avoid long lines. It's free! It's basically a virtual queuing system. It'll give you a timeframe when to come back. When it's your time all you have to do is go to the Fast Pass lane, which is a lot shorter and moves way faster than the normal line. Th
e only downside is you can only get 1 Fast Pass at a time. You can't virtually line up for multiple rides. You'll have to use your existing Fast Pass before you can get another one, even if it's for different rides. *bummer*

tip #6 Dress according to the weather forecast and wear comfortable shoes!
A week before your trip, check what the weather would be like in Orlando, FL. I used weather.com to help me plan what clothes to pack. And speaking of weather, if you have the option, go during the winter season. When we went in August, it was scorching hot. The next time we went was in January and it was a lot cooler. We got to enjoy the sights more since we weren't preoccupied with the unbearable heat. Only downside to going during winter is that the water parks might be closed. And don't forget to wear
the most comfortable shoes you own, coz trust me you're going to do a LOT of walking.

tip #7 HAVE FUN!
... and this coming from an obsessive planner, when you can't follow your time schedule down to the minute, don't sweat it. There's always something you can do just in case the line's too long or the show is already full

Hello, we meet again...

hello blogworld...

my third attempt at maintaining a blog, hopefully this one won't wither & die
like its predecessors, lol.

hopefully, my life would be interesting enough so that i'll have something to write about.

anyways, just wanted to say hello...again ^.^

p.s. although i made my own template (using Photoshop and digital scrap-booking stuff by shabby princess), i used skincorner 's Tired Girl html code,so i just wanted to give proper credit ^.^
